Russia, Iran agree to cooperate on Caspian Sea protection

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Russia and Iran have spoken in favor of preserving the Caspian Sea as a zone of peace and good-neighborliness based on the principle of non-presence in the Caspian Sea of the armed forces that do not belong to the littoral states.
