Gas pipeline from Russia to Iran to pass via Azerbaijan, capacity to be raised from 2 bcm to 55 bcm - Russian energy minister

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - The route for building a gas pipeline from Russia to Iran has been agreed upon and will pass via Azerbaijan, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilyov told journalists on Friday.
