Ex-head of flood protection agency sentenced to 12 years for bribery

ASTANA. July 3 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - A court in Kazakhstan’s Almaty region sentenced the former head of the state-run flood protection agency, Kairat Kokrekbayev, to 12 years in prison for accepting bribes, the regional court said in a statement.
