Kazakhstan sees 54% surge in road accidents, 955 deaths reported in H1

ASTANA. July 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - A total of 15,698 traffic accidents were registered in Kazakhstan in the first six months of 2025, which is an increase of 54% year-on-year, the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement on Thursday.
