Gold recovery plant with 100,000-tonne capacity opens in northern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — A new gold recovery plant has begun operations at the long-dormant Akbeit deposit in northern Kazakhstan, reviving a mine shut down decades ago, the Akmola regional administration said Wednesday.
