Kazakhstan exploration drilling could reach 120 wells annually in 2027-2028 - ministry

ASTANA. Sept 7 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Exploration and appraisal drilling in Kazakhstan is expected to reach about 80 wells in 2026 and could climb to 120 wells a year in 2027-2028, Deputy Energy Minister Yerlan Akbarov told the KAZDRILLING conference in Atyrau.
