Kazakh, Russian, Uzbek security services break up Afghan drug smuggling channel

ASTANA. Oct 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan's National Security Committee, working with Russian and Uzbek security services, has shut down a drug smuggling channel from Afghanistan along the so-called Northern Route, the committee's press service said Friday.
