Kazakhstan pays WWII veterans $10,700 each ahead of Victory Day

ALMATY. May 6 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan has paid 5 million tenge to each of the country's 57 surviving World War II veterans ahead of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection said Wednesday.
