Kazakhstan's parliament adopts law on new single-chamber Kurultai

ASTANA. May 20 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan's parliament adopted a constitutional law Wednesday establishing the legal framework for a new single-chamber legislature, the Kurultai, which will replace the current two-house system when the country's new constitution takes effect July 1.
