Kazakhstan fines CNPC-Sinopec venture $1M for drilling waste violations

ALMATY. May 20 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Authorities in Kazakhstan have fined an oil venture owned by China's CNPC and Sinopec $1 million for breaking hazardous waste rules, prosecutors said Wednesday.
